As a Retail Specialist, you will be a key player in delivering an exceptional customer experience by offering expert guidance on our diverse range of products. Your primary responsibility will be to provide valuable support to customers, ensuring the achievement of daily sales targets and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction above else.

Reports To: Venue Manager

Responsibilities:

• Execute sales of edibles and prepare signature slushies, ensuring a delightful and consistent customer experience with a focus on upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
• Oversee culinary operations, including selling coffee and drinks, baked goods, and accurately dosing products as requested by customers.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Welcome and assist customers promptly upon their arrival, facilitating seamless check-in procedures. 
• Offer personalized guidance to customers on cannabis product selections, considering their individual needs, preferences, and budgets, as well as their responses to different strains.
• Manage cash transactions efficiently and accurately, recording sales in the POS system with precision.
• Retail and Marketing Operations
• Support management in diverse retail and marketing activities, covering daily operations, customer transactions, and quality assurance measures.

• Maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of the store environment to uphold our high standards of presentation.
• Adhere to proper equipment care protocols, ensuring regular maintenance and thorough cleaning procedures are followed.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards on the retail sales floor, ensuring products are attractively displayed, and the area is kept clean and organized.

• Actively participate in promoting our unique business offerings and fostering strong communication links between Chi'Tiva and our valued customers.
• Execute assigned tasks related to marketing initiatives and live entertainment activities as directed
• Conduct inventory counting to ensure accurate stock levels and assist in inventory management processes.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail customer service is preferred, particularly in a cannabis or hospitality setting.
• Demonstrates genuine interest in the cannabis industry and aligns with the mission of Chi'Tiva, fostering dedication and enthusiasm for the role.
• Friendly, personable, and service-oriented, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Experience as a barista or in beverage preparation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the cannabis industry, personnel law, safety regulations, and municipal codes, ensuring legal compliance and operational integrity.
• Consistently adhering to Chi'Tiva’s weekly schedule demonstrates reliability and a strong dedication to fulfilling job obligations.
• Food Handler's Certificate: While important for certain duties, obtaining the certificate within 30 days of employment is required, but assistance is provided to initiate the process.
