What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line cook position at The Alderman NYC?
The Alderman is looking for passionate, prep, pastry and line cooks to join our team. Under the supervision of the executive chef, line cooks will perform daily duties to ensure the highest quality service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
