Our client, a global, industry leading, forward-thinking, engineering and design firm, is building the future and seeking a Senior Accountant who’s ready to do the same for their career.

As the Senior Accountant, you’ll own the accounting and financial reporting for an international business and be key business partner to the C-suite, providing high-impact financial insights and helping guide decision-making at the highest levels. In addition, the role will oversee, and have some hands on involvement in areas of tax, payroll, AP and AR. This is more than a traditional accounting role—it’s a launchpad to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position for the right candidate.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team, influencing strategic planning and operations
• Lead and refine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support performance and growth
• Oversee and enhance accounting systems and processes as we scale
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and support audit preparation
• Have oversight with some hands on involvement in general accounting, AP, AR, tax and Payroll.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a growth-oriented environment
• Strong understanding of general accounting, accounting department operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, and business KPIs
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable presenting to executive teams
• Ambition and aptitude to grow into a CFO and financial business partner
