As we focus on our goal of feeding and fueling the world, we are seeking a Grain Quality Technician team. This position is responsible for assisting with the collection and testing raw materials and finished products and also managing the branch food safety program.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Perform activities associated with the collection, preparation and testing of samples.
- Document test results and identify issues or concerns. Provide basic recommendations or escalate for resolution.
- Document and report finished product meets prescribed standards and specifications.
- Assist in calibration of analytical instrumentation; maintain associated documentation.
- Maintain a good working knowledge and adherence to all food safety policies and procedures.
- Perform all tasks in a fashion that promotes the safety and quality of our products.
- Actively participate in all required food safety and quality related meetings and training events.
- Become HACCP and FSSC 22000 Certified for food safety
- Train employees on food safety procedures.
- Maintain the food safety program at the branch including documents and records
- Complete facility inspections on a regular basis as per food safety program.
- Assist in annual food safety third party audit.

- Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
- Completes a variety of atypical assignments
- Works within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
- Works with a limited degree of supervision
- Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred
