What Is a Direct Service Provider (DSP)
Service & Support Coordinator
An associate degree in human services or other related field preferred; or commensurate experience. Clear verbal and written communication are essential to this position. Proficiency in MS Office, Windows and internet navigation, and prior experience in human services are highly desired. Some travel may be required.

What Is a Direct Service Provider (DSP)
- Responsible for direct care and supervision to individuals with disabilities.
- Responsible for maintaining communication and documentation with clients and service teams.
- Emphasis on skill-building, socialization, personal care, self-advocacy, recreation, and community inclusion.
Service & Support Coordinator

- Hours: Monday – Friday Daytime Hours
- Job Summary: The Arc is seeking a Service and Support Coordinator to provide crucial oversight and coordination of services for children and adults with mental health needs.
An associate degree in human services or other related field preferred; or commensurate experience. Clear verbal and written communication are essential to this position. - Location: The Arc’s Downtown Location
- Hours: Monday – Friday Daytime Hours
- Job Summary: Day Habilitation DSPs are responsible for direct care and supervision of individuals with disabilities. This includes providing oversight to participants to assist in the development of skills in the area of self-help, communication, personal care, self-advocacy, recreation, and other areas defined in the participant’s care plan. Finally, this position will serve as a role model for participants in a variety of community settings.

- Must be at least 16 years of age
- A group setting providing daily recreational activities emphasizing social and interpersonal opportunities with a focus on community inclusion.
- Job Summary: When school is not in session, daycare is! Enjoy engaging with a group of participants in recreational activities, such as games, crafts, field trips, and our outdoor playground.
