What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at The Arc of the Quad Cities Area?
Someone in this position should have good communication skills, be dependable, flexible, and prompt, and have good initiative and teamwork skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to giving direct care to individuals, assisting with showers, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, giving medication, documentation, preparing and cooking meals, housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, assisting with doctor appointments, outings, running programs, activities, etc.
