Dental Treatment Coordinator
Our team is seeking an experienced treatment planning coordinator to join or fast-paced dental office in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This individual must be well accustomed to working with high volume of people while being able to multitask in a busy office setting. Our office provides care for over 100 patients per day, therefore the qualified candidate must be someone who will maintain a positive attitude and professionalism at all times. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dentistry, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and dental professionals.
RESPONSIBILITES:
*Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
*Communicate treatment plans, including procedures, costs, and timelines, to patients in a clear and concise manner for optimal treatment plan acceptance.
*Assist patients in understanding their treatment options, answering any questions or concerns they may have.
*Coordinate appointments and follow-up visits based on the treatment plan and patient availability.
*Maintain accurate records of treatment plans, appointments, and patient communications.- Work closely with insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain pre-authorizations for treatments.
*Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and processing payments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* 1 years of experience in an office/administrative support role
* Knowledge of Dentrix preferred
*Dental or medical office experience preferred
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
*Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance billing practices.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service.
DETAILS
Our office is in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
This position will be Monday - Thursday from 7:45-4:45 pm with 1 hour lunch break (32 hours per week)
