We are a local family business that has been operating in the islands for over 35 years and employs over 140 employees. The Art Source, Inc. has three sister companies - Pictures Plus, Plus Interiors & CoconNene. We make products for the home locally here in Hawai'i, in our Manufacturing Facility in Kapolei, and service our customers through our retail locations all over the Hawaiian Islands. We are looking for another team member on our Pictures Plus retail team in Ka Makana Ali'i Shopping Center in Kapolei. Pictures Plus part-time employees make $15 to $20 an hour (base pay plus commissions) and full-time employees make $18-25 an hour (base pay plus commissions). We are offering a $500 bonus to those employees (part or full-time) who have successfully completed training. Full-time employees qualify for the following benefits: medical insurance, 401K enrollment, paid time off and employee discount across all company brands. Also, we offer a generous employee discount to our part-time employees. Responsibilities:
- Greeting and servicing customers, building trust and rapport
- Ringing customers up using a POS
- Helping to collaborate and support customers in the building of their custom framed art or printing piece
- Product knowledge and expertise, training will be part of the onboarding process
- Maintaining inventory - ensuring cash and carry products are in the store and looking presentable
- Cleaning and prepping the art pieces for customer pickup
Requirements:
- Reliability
- Positive, friendly and team attitude
- Effective communication
- 1-2y customer service experience
- 1 y retail sales experience
- Graphic design experience is a plus
- High school graduate or equivalent
Schedule - Looking for part-time or full-time, flexible. Nights (mall hours) and weekend availability required.
