Social Media Specialist

THE ARTIST LAB is looking for a Social Media Specialist to help manage our social media channels and written content. This person will be responsible for taking pictures, videos, creating social media campaigns, and generating content and copy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports team with the management of social media channels and blog.
• Come in to our classrooms to take pictures and videos, edit them and post onto our social media platforms
• Maintains and publishes social media calendar in close collaboration with all marketing team members.
• Communicates social media calendar, content releases, and reports any changes to our management team
• Search and contact different communities and organizations to exploer oppotunities to reach more customers.
• Grow our user bases with engaging posts and creative promotions
• Defines content requirements, enforces best practices, and suggests ways to improve content for social media channels.
• Actively engages with consumers across all social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)
• Identify opportunities to drive consumer engagement on social platforms.
• Tracks social performance by developing monthly and quarterly reports, as well as measure and reports on social campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year of experience in social media.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Familiarity with Social Media Platforms
• Familiarity with Canva, picture editing and video editing software
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong time management, organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects/activities.
• Self-starter, highly collaborative, true team-player.
• Experience with educational centers and related subjects

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Video editing: 1 year (Required)
