JOB DESCRIPTION: ENROLLMENT DIRECTOR
The Enrollment Director is expected to reflect and participate in a progressive school culture of creativity, safety, inclusion, acceptance, and anti-bullying, as well as model and uphold the school values of honesty, communication, problem-solving, kindness, respect for diversity, participation and awareness in all interactions with school stakeholders – including students, staff, caregivers and families and community partners.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- RECRUITMENT
- Create, continually develop and implement engaging recruitment strategies and practices for attracting students at all grade levels to ACPA. This includes but is not limited to touring individual families, partnering with community organizations, representing ACPA at recruitment events or creating social media content.
- Work with partner organizations (other schools, arts organizations, community centers, etc.) to identify prospective ACPA students for enrollment on an ongoing annual basis.
- Keeping in regular and periodic contact through various means with prospective students and families to encourage completion of enrollment applications and to ensure informed school choice decisions are made.
- Identifying, creating and implementing new and diverse recruitment avenues, outreach and marketing strategies.
- Organizing and implementing small group and individual school tour experiences for prospective students.
- Create opportunities and experiences for current students and ACPA alumni to participate in recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with middle and high school principals to ensure the tour process covers pertinent school information and has opportunities for prospective students and families to have programmatic questions answered.
- ENROLLMENT
- Collaborate with the Record Director to ensure proper enrollment, collection of required paperwork, and coordination of maximum enrollment at each grade level to include maintaining electronic data systems.
- Ensure that the enrollment process is engaging, friendly and accommodating to a diverse recruitment pool.
- Ensuring that prospective students and caregivers complete all application items on a timely basis in the student SIS (PowerSchool).
- Ensuring that ACPA’s enrollment and lottery policy is implemented.
- Maintaining an ongoing wait list of prospective students with complete applications.
- Ensuring each grade level is full on an ongoing basis.
- MARKETING
- In collaboration with the Communications and Marketing Director, create recruitment and enrollment print and media content.
- Explore marketing avenues for targeted recruitment.
- Ensure that the mission, vision and values of ACPA are reflected in marketing and recruitment materials.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong organizational skills (data tracking, spreadsheets, enrollment management)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret data, identify patterns and develop strategy that responds to the data;
- Confident public speaker and excellent written communicator;
- Superior organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail;
- Integrity, sound judgment, confidentiality, and an ability to balance multiple perspectives;
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, demonstrate resilience and adjust course when necessary;
- Energy and enthusiasm to work simultaneously on multiple projects and manage competing priorities;
- Ability to model leadership, lifelong learning, healthy risk taking and resilience for faculty, staff and students;

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary commensurate with experience & education based on salary schedule, with salary starting at $36,980
