What You’ll Do:
As a Resident Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in providing personalized care to our residents. You’ll not only assist with daily living activities but also help create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities:
- Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care, always encouraging independence and dignity.
- Serve delicious meals and ensure residents are well-nourished, while respecting their preferences and encouraging healthy eating habits.
- Get involved in exciting leisure activities, encourage social interactions, and help residents forge friendships. Your creativity will shine here!
- Maintain accurate records while being a keen observer of residents' health and emotional well-being.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, responding positively to requests for assistance and emergencies.
- Collaborate with your coworkers and contribute to a supportive team culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in resident care, preferably with seniors (6 months to 1 year).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, good judgment, and attention to detail.
- An understanding of HIPAA requirements is essential.
