Position Overview:
We’re seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our Minneapolis team supporting Target, working alongside our talented team of professionals dedicated to exceptional service and growth for both our clients and retail partners. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert on supply chain, inventory management, and data analytics, collaborating closely with Target’s merchandising teams, our internal Sales & Account Managers, and vendor teams to drive impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesize sales and inventory data, providing guidance and actionable insights that execute on major initiatives
- Proactively identify sales opportunities and inventory concerns and generates potential solutions to address
- Forecast & manage promotional spend to ensure vendor is maximizing sales while maintaining budget
- Ensure overall vendor satisfaction with service, actionable insights, data application and deliverables by managing relationships at the retailer and leveraging all available resources to build a reputation for excellent service and positive referrals
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant retail experience, including forecasting and data analytics required; Target experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and interpret data from multiple sources
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI, Partners Online a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building abilities with a customer-focused approach
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
