Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Skills
- Proficient in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest services in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in hospitality or restaurant operations is advantageous but not required.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others create memorable dining experiences.
