Position Summary

The Therap Compliance Manager oversees the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of documentation within the Therap electronic record system for Adult Services programs. This role is essential to ensuring person-centered, Medicaid-compliant documentation that supports high-quality services for adults with developmental disabilities. The position works closely with program leadership, quality assurance, and finance to support compliance, training, and continuous improvement across Adult Services.

Schedule

Full-time, schedule may vary based on program and organizational needs.
Work location includes administrative offices and program sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and communicate Benedictine’s mission and core values across Adult Services
  • Manage enrollment, admissions, and discharges of individuals served within the Therap system
  • Enter, maintain, and deactivate employee access in Therap, ensuring appropriate permissions
  • Reset passwords and support system access as needed
  • Enter and monitor Service Authorizations aligned with approved funding and Person-Centered Plans
  • Review preliminary and final ISP documentation to ensure alignment with funding, billing, and Medicaid waiver requirements
  • Identify and report documentation discrepancies, compliance issues, or overutilization concerns to program leadership
  • Monitor documentation timeliness to meet Medicaid billing and utilization deadlines
  • Upload service plan documentation quarterly to support training and compliance requirements
  • Produce and submit monthly self-directed data reports to Finance
  • Conduct routine audits of Therap records and generate compliance and quality assurance reports
  • Identify trends, errors, and gaps in documentation and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide coaching, retraining, and technical assistance to supervisors and managers
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Finance, and program leadership to resolve documentation concerns
  • Stay current on Therap updates, waiver changes, and regulatory guidance impacting IDD services
  • Support internal and external audits, including Medicaid, state licensing, and accreditation reviews
  • Assist the Program Analyst with eligibility applications and maintenance of personal finance records for individuals served

Additional Duties

  • Attend required meetings, including manager and staff meetings
  • Complete mandatory trainings and maintain required certifications
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Represent Benedictine professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Cooperate with inspections, investigations, and audits
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in IDD services using the Therap system
  • Experience with Medicaid waiver documentation and person-centered planning
  • Quality assurance or supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous management experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Therap and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively in stressful situations
  • Schedule flexibility required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to provide proof of U.S. work authorization upon hire
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, CJIS criminal background check, and CPS check
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable under Benedictine insurance requirements

  • Ability to lift or push up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Full range of motion in arms, legs, hands, and fingers

Pay: $19.80 - $26.50 per hour
