About the Role
Your job as a Member Relations Representativewill be you will provide inbound and/or outbound customer service support, ensuring delivery of accurate, complete, and timely information pertaining to member policies and coverage and thoroughly documenting all calls. You will conduct research to provide claims status, as well as investigate routine requests and escalate all call issues as required. You will provide high level service to both members and providers in multiple geographic locations.
What you’ll do
- Independently respond to incoming calls and return messages from customers accurately and courteously while performing duties generated by phone calls
- Engage in active listening with callers, confirming and/or clarifying information and assists in the resolution of concerns
- Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to adhere to procedures
- Inform supervisors of possible items to be aware of or potential and specific problems
- Offer any suggestions that might be helpful to department functioning and show initiative and offer assistance when the need is evident
- Stay abreast of policy and procedure changes and utilize informational resources
- Perform related duties as assigned or situation dictates
- Provides prompt and accurate service to promote an excellent customer experience while utilizing internal computer systems
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years with customer interaction work experience (Call center, hospitality, receptionist, etc.)
- Available to work Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and general computer software navigation
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with all customers
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment
