Opportunity Snapshot:
- Compensation: $170,000.00/year annual salary, plus annual bonus

- Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours
- Assignment Duration: Direct hire

Responsibilities
- Providing work procedures & instructions that ensure safe and efficient execution of all tasks, including safe work permits, and lock out tag out procedures
- Develop and implement foundational and primary process to ensure safe reliable and efficient production
- Develop long term and short-term TIP (Tactical Improvement Plan) for production department and integrate into the year Site TIP, including department development & recruitment, productivity, quality, efficiency and HSE improvement
- Ensure adherence to all site procedures, work instructions and other regulations and guidelines. Walk the talk
- Adherence to production budget and realize yearly improvement. Adherence to production planning, BOM and realize yearly improvement
- Process owner of performance management in production: plan, review and actions
- Adherence to budget and to production schedule
- Ensure availability and use of MAC’s, driving reduction of gap between MAC and actuals
- Execution of the primary work processes and the foundations (performance mgt, 5S, SWS) in production; review by Process Confirmation
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in chemical engineering
- 7 years experience in production, maintenance, quality, direct leadership role in chemical manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Green belt or comparable process improvement, problem solving abilities
- Hardworking, action-oriented, and results driven
- Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate/Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
