Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose and Repair Vehicles : Use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose and repair GM vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension,
Perform Routine Maintenance : Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, multipoint inspections, air filter, cabin filter, and wiper blade changes to keep vehicles in safe and dependable operating condition.
Safety Inspections and Testing : Perform safety inspections and test vehicles to ensure compliance with dealership and factory standards.
Customer Communication : Communicate directly with customers to explain issues, provide accurate solutions, and present repair or installation options.
Team Collaboration : Assist senior technicians and collaborate with other team members to achieve team goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Continuous Learning : Participate in ongoing training programs, including manufacturer hands-on and web-based training, to stay updated on the latest GM technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements :

GM certification is highly preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 2-6 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on GM vehicles.

Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree or higher in automotive technology a plus.

Skills :

Mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Excellent customer service skills

Basic computer skills

Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mentality

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with others
