Experienced Lead Server at The Boardroom in Kailua. Looking for a lead server who is a leader and enjoys customer service.
Restaurant Server Duties and Responsibilities
- Full-Time server
- Lead the server team at Boardroom
- Lead training for server team
- Work directly with General Manager
- Greet customers and answer any questions they have about the menu
- Explain daily specials and take food and drink orders
- Put orders in and deliver food and drinks to customers
- Process checks and payments
- Help clean the table for the next customer
- Complete side work as needed
- Works well in a fast paced environment
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attn to sanitation and order
- Excellent customer service, and a friendly demeanor
- Exceptional organization and time management
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverage
- Take and serve orders
- Great active listening skills
- Learn and be knowledgeable about menu
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Deal with concerns from guests with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Willing to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekends
- Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
Restaurant Server Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 4 years Experience as a server preferably in fine dining
- Customer service, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
- Experience training servers
Job Type: Full-time
