We offer a comprehensive range of evidence-based rehabilitative services, including mental health and substance abuse treatment, housing, vocational training and job placement, healthcare, education, and creative arts therapies.
The Bridge is seeking Fee for Service Therapists for its Office of Mental Health regulated Article 31 Mental Health Clinic on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This position involves providing individual psychotherapy 2 days a week. Compensation includes competitive FFS rates, paid attendance at a 60-minute meeting with all clinical staff, and paid supervision with an LCSW.
Essential Position Functions:
- Provide individual therapy
- Complete immediate needs assessments, comprehensive psychosocial assessments, individualized service plans, and crisis/relapse prevention plans
- Conduct specialized clinical assessments of violence risk, suicide risk, substance use, trauma, and criminogenic needs
- Use evidence-based treatments in the areas of mental health and substance abuse to address client needs (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care)
- Complete required documentation in a timely and high-quality manner
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R
- At least two years of experience providing services to adults with serious mental illness
- Knowledge and experience of electronic health records (specifically AWARDS by foothold) preferred
- Spanish speaking is highly desirable
- CASAC-T or CASAC a plus
