Business Analyst (Mainframe Technologies)

This role drives clarity and alignment between Finance, Store Operations, and mainframe engineering teams by translating complex business needs into precise functional specifications. The Mainframe Business Analyst supports finance transformation initiatives by ensuring legacy systems accurately enable general ledger and inventory processes. Success in this role reduces delivery risk across mainframe-based platforms through strong requirements, testing rigor, and stakeholder partnership.

• Business analysis experience supporting IBM mainframe environments.

• Strong business analysis skills (requirements gathering, writing, stakeholder communication, etc.)

• Knowledge of DB2 (IBM Db2 Database).

• Business requirements elicitation for finance and store inventory processes.

• Functional specifications development for mainframe-based systems.

• Impact analysis support for finance transformation initiatives.

• Integration testing coordination across mainframe applications.

• User acceptance testing execution with documented business sign-off.

• Stakeholder communication between technical and non-technical teams.

• Agile SDLC
