Riverdale is a vibrant and diverse residential neighborhood in the Bronx, known for its tight-knit community, local businesses, and strong school presence, making it the perfect home for students and creatives alike. We’re currently looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Intern to join our team! Working under the guidance of our Social Media Coordinator, you’ll gain hands-on experience in marketing through content creation, photography, graphic design, and event promotion. This role is ideal for a high school or college student looking for an entry level marketing position. Success in this role looks like increased engagement on our social platforms, visually appealing and consistent content, and a growing understanding of how marketing impacts customer behavior and revenue. As a key contributor to our community-focused brand, your work will help shape how customers experience Bronx Burger House, online and in person.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content for Instagram and Facebook
- Take quality photos of food, drinks, and events
- Design flyers and graphics for in-person and digital promotions
- Assist with event decorations and visual merchandising
- Stay informed on social media trends and suggest creative ideas
- Responsibilities may evolve based on your skill level and comfort
Qualifications:
- Beginner-friendly: no prior professional experience required
- Basic photography skills (smartphone camera is acceptable)
- Access to a personal device for creating and editing content
- Comfortable being on camera for content, when needed
- Ability to work one 2–4 hour shift in person per week
- Strong communication skills and a creative mindset
