Men's Transitional House / Recovery House

Mental Health Associate - PRN

*Hours are usually 8 hour shifts during the week and on weekends as needed. Need is mostly for weekends which is 7a -3p , 3p-11p or 11p-7a. Hours will vary depending on need.*

Responsibilities Include:

We are seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work with our Men's Transitional Living house. This is a specialized program for those with Substance Use Disorders. Behavioral Health Techs or Mental Health Associates are responsible for completing safety checks on patients, leading some groups focused on Recovery , driving to outside AA meetings , and other tasks associated with safety of the patients. MHA's assist the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

Education – High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
Years of experience needed – No experience required. Direct patient care experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.

Drivers license with good record required to drive a passenger van

Certifications – Must maintain current CPR and first aid certification. ( we will provide)
