The Bug Company, a leader in the insect industry, is excited to announce an opening for a part-time dedicated Delivery Driver position located in Ham Lake. This role is paramount to our commitment to providing outstanding service and support to our clientele and community. As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of our products directly to some of our local customers.

Please note, that this is a part-time position and is not eligible for remote work. As a Delivery Driver, you will be integral in maintaining our reputation for timely and reliable delivery services, which our clients have come to depend upon.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to transport cargo to and from designated local locations ensuring timely delivery.
• Practice safe and efficient driving skills at all times, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs to management immediately.
• Communicate with management to ensure on-time delivery and efficient route planning.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, being friendly and professional in all customer interactions.
• Handle all packages and goods with care to avoid damages, ensuring all cargo is secured properly before transport.
• Assist in loading and unloading of cargo, employing proper lifting and handling techniques to move heavy parcels safely and effectively.
• Adapt to variable weather and traffic conditions, making safety-focused decisions.
• Resolve any delivery discrepancies / inform the manager immediately.
• Keep a clean and organized vehicle, promoting a positive image of the company’s brand.
