What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Manager position at The Canopy NYC?
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time
COMPENSATION: $22 - 24 per hour
The Canopy NYC is looking for Front Desk Managers for our brand new play space and prenatal parent club in Williamsburg, Brooklyn! This is a part-time position requiring 3 shifts per week commitment. Candidates will not be considered for the position if they aren’t available on one weekend day.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- You will start your day bright eyed and bushy tailed by arriving early or on time
- You will ensure that the studio is tidy, well-stocked, and ready for the busy day ahead
- You'll engage in light cleaning and make sure the space is tidy at all times
- You will be the face of our business: responding to emails, answering phones, and greeting clients
- You will provide excellent support to our members (both little and grown up) and help with things they may need on site
- You will assist with birthday parties on weekends as scheduled and agreed upon
- You will function as part of a wonderful team, communicating effectively, and providing valuable insight
- You will participate in weekly facilities audits and supply inventory counts
- You will give tours of the space to potential new members
- You'll help flyer and boost our mission around the neighborhood during slower hours
- You will participate in executing both large and small projects with our COO and CEO
- You will help our marketing team acquire new play space members as needed
