Job Description:
- Prepare facilities for rentals including surface cleaning, restocking supplies, setting up signage, etc.
- Serve as the primary contact for the venue during events
- Have a clear understanding of the event details including vendor list, event layout, event timeline and specific needs or requests from client
- Check in with vendors throughout the event to assist with seamless operation
- Ensure all museum rules are being adhered to during event
- Unlock and unarm facilities prior to event, and lock and arm facilities following each event
- Assist with conducting venue tours to potential clients and vendors
Experience/Skills:
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (as needed)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently with the ability to take initiative
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of event experience or hospitality related experience
- 1 year customer service experience
Schedule:
- 12 hour shifts
- 10 hour shifts
- 8 hour shifts
- 4 hour shifts
- Weekend availability
- Holidays (as needed)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
