What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Designer position at The CARA Group, Inc.?
CARA’s manufacturing customer seeks a locally-based Instructional Design Consultant for a 3-month onsite (four (4) days onsite, one (1) day remote) engagement to create experiential learning for their Workday training implementation. Deliverables include, but not limited to job aids, facilitator/participant guides, quick reference cards, and eLearning.
Initial projects include:
- Data Literacy – eLearning module
- Power BI – eLearning module
Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience working in an instructional design capacity.
- Prior experience creating experiential learning solutions.
- Experience with Articulate Rise and Storyline. Experience with other design tools such as video software, audio, etc. is a plus.
- Working experience with 70/20/10 learning model.
- Be familiar with agile/ADDIE methods for developing.
- Skilled in:
- Asking clarifying questions.
- Managing expectations of both the subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders.
- Time management.
- Solving problems.
- Moving projects forward.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location/Duration
- Onsite in Racine Wisconsin (four (4) days onsite, one (1) day remote)
- Seeking locally based consultants in the Wisconsin/Illinois region
