Shipping Clerk

Description

The Specialty/Carlstar Division of Titan International seeks a Shipping Clerk for the McDonough, GA distribution center. This role’s primary responsibilities include completing administrative tasks for shipping and general office administration in the Slinger distribution center.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, comfortable with autonomous work, detail-oriented, and comfortable using administrative and interpersonal skills to complete essential tasks.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manages Material Resource Planning (MRP) system and creates work orders to be fulfilled by distribution center employees.
• Ensures proper processing of work orders and ensures workflow does not create bottlenecks or stoppages.
• Maintains the shipping and receiving office and transportation process including processing bills of lading (BOLS), completing paperwork, scheduling inbound and outbound trucks, and filing paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. May substitute the company GEDWorks program.
• 2 Years of Experience in an office-based work environment, including basic knowledge of shipping terminology, is required.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and customer-based transportation routing websites is required.
• Demonstrated intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Excel, required
• Demonstrated experience with transportation schedules is strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
