What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at The Carriage House Infant Nursery?
We are an Infant Nursery in New Orleans, called The Carriage House Infant Nursery. We are looking for a loving, nurturing, patient, friendly and upbeat infant teacher to join our team. A passion for working with infants is a MUST!
This person must be knowledgeable of the developmental milestones of this age group, and be able to implement appropriate daily activities to meet the infants physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
This person must have the ability to multi-task, be very well-organized, communicate well with parents and other staff members, and work well as a team.
This person must have previous experience with infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months old, in a childcare setting.
A CDA, or degree in Early Childhood Development is encouraged.
You must be able to pass a State Background Check in order to be considered for the position.
