Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant, located in Lubbock, TX. The Physician Assistant will work closely with Dr. Jason Ramsey and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, assisting in surgeries, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of optimal care.
Qualifications
- Proficient in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders
- Skilled in surgical assistance, including preoperative and postoperative care
- Ability to create effective treatment plans and provide patient education
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams
- Active Physician Assistant license in the State of Texas
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred but not required
- Dedication to providing patient-centered care and maintaining professionalism
