Preschool Teacher/Half-Day Program
The Chalkboard Preschool is expanding! We are excited to announce the opening of our new half-day program called Chalkboard Kids. This program is a half-day preschool, open Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 12:00pm in Hanahan, SC. With our opening date approaching we are looking for a positive, energetic, and passionate individual to join our team.
The position requires the individual to be friendly, kind, and loving while being able to work with children ages 3-5 years old. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves working with children and is excited about starting a career in early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Developing a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
- Employing educational techniques and resources that will help children develop their talents and accrue confidence in the future
- Employing multiple levels of organization to help you create programs that can be used by parents as an inspiration for their children
- Creating curriculums based on the principles of early childhood education that are educational and fun for children
- Employing art and other educational techniques to help develop an artistic confidence in children
- Organizing nap times, supervising child’s afternoon/afternoon/evening hours, and implementing lesson plans
- Communicating with parents regularly about the child’s progress in school and regarding any special needs or concerns
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the children
- Maintaining a professional appearance at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
