What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mentor for High School Program - Career Action Center position at The Chamber Foundation, Inc.?
The Chamber Foundation is looking for a mentor to assist in their Career Action Center Program operated in partnership with Poughkeepsie City School District.
Mentor will provide assistance to high school youth in career exploration, job search techniques, resume writing, interview practice, program implementation as needed and more. Mentor will be responsible for placing youth in various internship sites, monitor the interns progress daily, and assist with transportation when needed. Clean Driver’s license and reliable vehicle a must.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years’ experience working with youth. Immediate position available.
