Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Director of Administration to manage overall operations for a small, top-rated law firm engaged in a general civil practice with an emphasis on representing clients in matters involving, business and corporate, business and employment litigation, public finance, real estate, and affordable housing (single and multi-family) including tax credits, business and employment litigation. Responsible for overall long-term strategic planning and direction of all administrative functions, including management of timekeeping, billing, accounting (including account reconciliations), financial management (creating and monitoring annual budget, monitoring cash flow), technology, HR management, facilities management, managing required Federal, state and local tax filings, licensing filings, etc., and other administrative functions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Overall long-term strategic planning and direction of all administrative functions, including management of timekeeping, billing, accounting (including account reconciliations), financial management (creating and monitoring annual budget, monitoring cash flow), technology, HR management, facilities management, managing required Federal, state and local tax filings, licensing filings, etc., and other administrative functions.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 5-7 years experience as an Office Administrator or senior level business manager in a professional services firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Demonstrated track record of progressive administrative management success
- Proven leadership and management skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully implement ideas and impact change
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
Certified Legal Manager credentials preferred

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
