The Children’s Center for Therapy and Learning is a unique multi-disciplinary private practice that utilizes a family-centered team approach to help children maximize their potential. We design individualized programs, building upon each child's strengths while conducting therapy in a quiet, personal environment. The Center offers a variety of therapies and programs using the latest techniques and research to help children feel successful and achieve their goals. All therapies are offered both at our Center and at the child's home, school, or daycare center. We accept most private insurance and are in-network providers for Aetna and Humana, and we assist families in billing other insurances.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist, located in North Miami, FL. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children. Daily tasks include developing individualized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team, documenting progress, and providing support to families. Therapies may be conducted at the Center, child's home, school, or daycare.
- Experience and skills in Speech Therapy and treatment of Speech-related disorders.
- Knowledge and skills in treating Dysphagia.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with children in therapeutic settings is a plus.
