JOB TYPE : Adoption Caseworker
LOCATION : Chester (Upland), Delaware County, PA
SCHEDULE : New employees will work in person in the office for a 30-60 day period then transition to a hybrid schedule which includes 2 remote working days per week

QUALIFICATIONS :
JOB DESCRIPTION :
1. Facilitate the movement of children through the permanency process
2. Facilitate child placements and avoid placement disruptions; provide crisis management and supportive counseling to resource parents
3. Recruit adoptive homes for special needs children, with an emphasis on recruiting minorities
4. Conduct adoptive home studies and prepare Family and Child Profiles
5. Attend court for all adoption and finalization hearings, provide post-adoption referrals and provide post-placement and post-legalization services to adoptive families
