Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Development Director to lead our established Development team! As the Director of Development, you will be responsible for...
- creating and implementing comprehensive annual fundraising plans with set goals, activities/events, and meaningful reports
- cultivating positive rapport with all current and potential donors, alumni, board members, and community members
- consistently maintaining organized records for all donations, grants, and requests
- identifying and pursuing new funding and grant opportunities through research and networking
- leading the planning and execution of all fundraising events
- providing transparent and effective communication to the Executive Director, the Development Committee of the Board, and the Governing Body
- overseeing the Director of Marketing and Communications and Development Office Manager
- working as a team to drive forward our mission of creating family solutions and making a difference in the lives we serve
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in community relations, public relations, fund development, or a related field
- Five (5) years experience in community/public relations and fundraising, sales management, or a related field
- Exceptional public speaking and networking skills
- Ability to represent the organization positively and effectively, as this is a highly visible position to the community
- High moral standards and strong integrity as evidenced by references and reputation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Fundraising: 5 years (Preferred)
- Public relations: 5 years (Preferred)
