What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Pastor position at The Christian and Missionary Alliance - U.S....?
Edgewater Alliance Church, Edgewater, FL, is looking for someone to fill the role of Pastor of Church Ministries. The primary purpose of this executive position is to provide leadership, management, and oversight of the EAC staff team under the direction of the Senior Pastor as well as leadership of existing EAC ministries. This individual would also be a core member of the preaching team rotation.
This individual should be a mature apprentice of Jesus with a love of others. Substantial experience in both preaching, church administration, and pastoral care is desired. Because this individual will be managing and leading the church staff and church ministries, good leadership and relational skills is necessary. This individual should have the applicable theological training as required for accreditation with The Alliance and be in close theological alignment with The Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Edgewater, Florida is located along the Intracoastal waterfront on the east coast of Florida in Southeast Volusia County. Edgewater offers over 150 acres of parks with walking trails, paddling trails, fishing, boating, and bird watching. It is conveniently located close to Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral, Daytona Beach, and Orlando.
