What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastor position at The Christian and Missionary Alliance US Church Ministries?
We, the elders and ministry board members of the Christ Alliance Church, are looking for a spiritual leader who will guide us in formulating a vision and then lead us in that vision to reach our community for Christ. Our hearts are united in seeking this shepherd who will feed us from God's Word and enable us to be lights in our community to glorify Christ.

Location: 1881 Brodhead Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001 (Beaver County)
Type of Community: Suburb located 18 miles NW of Pittsburgh (population 9,238)
Ministries:
- Service time: Sunday morning 10:45
- Other key ministries/programs: Once monthly communion, Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study 9:30 a.m., once monthly Prayer Meeting Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., Mens Breakfast last Saturday of month 9 a.m., Gateway Bible Ministry, Alliance Women once monthly April-Nov. Thurs. 6 p.m., twice yearly AW Breakfast, Bongolo Hospital Bandages, Yearly Missions Conference, Yard Sign ministry, Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.
- Worship form /style: Blended contemporary songs/traditional hymns with a casual to dressy casual atmosphere.

- Develop and implement disciple making ministries with a leader/youth leader who has a knowledge of todays culture for kids and adults.
- Grow spiritually while learning how to listen to what the Holy Spirit has for us.
2. Key accomplishments of the last 3 years in order of importance.
- Missions funding exceeded our pledges

Building upgrades: Roof on the church, carpet in the sanctuary, new windows and remodeled kitchen in the Activity Center. The congregation gave generously above and beyond to fund these improvements.
- Take It or Leave It Sale for the community - Garage sale atmosphere (items mostly donated by our congregants) where people could take any item they wanted/needed for free or leave a donation for it. Money raised was given to missions.

- The Gym/Activity Center is separate from the church
- Offsite parsonage
- Large church building
- Good location
- Dedicated members/ Prayer warriors/ Missions minded
4. Our churchs most significant challenges/weaknesses/obstacles.
- Declining and aged congregation. Some congregants are inward thinkers.
- Some misunderstanding/forgetting of a Christians duties, doctrine, purpose of the Christian life. We need good teaching from the whole Bible to set this right.
- Difficulty finding a member to lead Disciple-making Ministries
- Buildings need some updating.
- We do not have a good grasp of needs in the community that could be served by our church. This limits our ability to interact with community members in meaningful ways.

We seek a godly, caring and diligent leader who can 1) cast vision, 2) evangelize, 3) make disciples, 4) preach & teach, 5) develop leadership potential, and 6) show us how to engage our local community for Christ.

- We currently source out our gym/activity center to neighborhood youth organizations, a quilting club, puzzlers and local election commission.
