Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Samoan Metadata Specialist to support data entry and metadata cleanup efforts in the Samoan language. The ideal candidate will be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Samoan, and possess strong familiarity with Samoan culture, history, and customs. This is a 6 month temporary position open to remote work anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and metadata cleanup in Samoan.
- Review and update metadata to ensure linguistic and cultural accuracy.
- Collaborate with project leads to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
- Assist in identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies in existing data.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2 years of professional work experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Strong familiarity with Samoan culture, history, and customs
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Samoan
