Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide assistance in navigating the store’s variety of independent vendors and their products.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations from different vendor selections.
- Ensure the store is neat, organized, and visually appealing, highlighting vendor displays.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions for multiple vendors.
- Maintain stock levels and support inventory management for both the store and individual vendors.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about products, vendor stories, and store policies.
- Communicate with vendors about inventory needs, product promotions, and customer feedback.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring the store is ready for business each day.
- Foster a positive, welcoming environment for both customers and vendors.
- Support vendor events, promotions, or special sales as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with a variety of products from different independent vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
