Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer care at all times. Greeting and a smile to every person who walks in the door.
- Explain/Guide our customers on a journey. Depending on what the customer is looking for, give them suggestions on a good espresso based drink or pour over single origin to try.
- Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
- Ensure proper drink preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
- Ensures all espresso shots are pulled correctly and drinks made per recipe.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must LOVE coffee
- No experience necessary!
- Must be excellent verbal communicator and be comfortable explaining our products our customers.
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Southern Nevada Health District Health Card required for position
- Background check required
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- On occasion, may be required to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects
