What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3-5 School Leader position at The College Preparatory & Leadership Academy?
Be a part of a school DREAM TEAM that meets the academic needs of the whole child in a structured and joy-filled environment.
General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Demonstrated instructional leader on the middle school level. This is demonstrated by achieving proficiency levels at 75% or higher, meet and/or exceed growth, and the ability to run a model classroom consistently that supports teacher growth and development.
- Be an inspirational leader who can transform teachers and students in lower school through Energy, Engagement, and Excellence.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents, families and students through quality relationships.
- Provide leadership and administration in middle school grades 6-8
- Motivate instructional and support personnel to strive for superior performance
- Lead and implement the best possible opportunities for student growth and development, both educationally and personally.
- Collaborate with other school leaders and executive leadership
- Provide assistance to the instructional staff in developing effective classroom instruction and management.
- Monitor team teaching activities and coordinate student grouping for success.
Qualified candidates have:
- Master's Degree in Education / Administration
- Documented success as a teacher-leader
- Charter school experience is a plus
