The Connection Center for Behavioral Health provides the latest and most innovative substance use and mental health treatment services for adults and families in convenient locations throughout the state.
Services provided include:
- Evaluations
- Individual Psychotherapy
- Group Therapy
- Medication Management
Location: 4 Broadway, Norwich, CT
Supervisor’s Credential Information: Licenses/Certificates Supervisor Possess: LCSW
Responsibilities of the Placement:
Clinical Intern will conduct intake assessments and provide individual and group counseling to individuals suffering from mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
Student must be available during normal business hours (9:00—6:00pm). Must be a second year LPC, LMSW, or LMFT student.
Number of Available Positions: 1
Expected start date: Fall 2024
Please note: All interns are subject to the same onboarding requirements as The Connection employees.
Orientation: If selected for an internship placement, interns will be required to attend a full-day agency orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
