The Consulting Engineers Group (CEG) is seeking a Revit Modeler/Drafter to join its team in Mount Prospect, IL (Chicago NW suburb).

Essential Duties and Functions:
- Layout erection drawings of structural and precast drawings.
- Detailing and modeling of the precast project using Revit.
- Coordinate and consult with other project team members to design layout or detail components, and structural systems of precast structure or building.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in a related field (experience can be substituted for degree)
- Perform essential duties and functions
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering concepts and terminology
- Knowledge and understanding of standard drafting and engineering practices and methods
- Knowledge and understanding of CAD/BIM standards and software
- Must be self-motivated and have a desire for continued learning and personal growth
- Must be highly detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
- Must have the ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems
- Must possess a positive attitude towards project challenges
- Must have effective time management and logical decision-making ability
- Must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to handle pressure, and meet deadlines
- Must possess mental and emotional fitness
Preferred:
- Proficiency and 1-year of Revit (2006-2022) experience
- Experience with precast concrete detailing
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time paying close attention to detail
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
- Must have the manual dexterity required to use a desktop computer and peripherals
