Driver

Summary  ​​Delivers materials to job site, inspects and maintain truck, reports shortages and claims to supervisor and assists in loading and storing of materials.  Not a CDL driver but may require some certification depending on state law.​  Essential Functions  ​​Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)  ​Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery  ​Deliver materials to the job site  ​Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures  ​Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed  ​Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization  ​Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers  ​Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment  ​Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations  ​Working in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations  ​Load finished product onto truck  ​Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager regarding the warehouse or deliveries  ​Navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders  ​Other relative duties as assigned​  Minimum Qualifications  ​​Minimum Education – High School diploma or GED  ​Forklift certification preferred   ​Clean driving record and current operator’s license  ​At least 21years of age to drive for the company​  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  ​​Experience driving trucks for delivery   ​Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware preferred  ​Good communication skills– Proper use of company issued devices   ​Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms  ​Ability to work closely & cordially with other staff associates​  Physical Demands  ​​Must be able to stand and walk for much of the day.  Ability to lift 5-50 pounds frequently.​  Work Environment   ​​Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware.
