What are the responsibilities and job description for the Library Courier PT-Hourly position at The County of Botetourt?
Job Summary: This position provides transportation services for library materials to all Botetourt Library locations on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Responsible for making deliveries to Botetourt’s library locations on a daily basis.
- Responsible for making deliveries to other libraries in the Roanoke Valley Libraries Consortium or other County offices as scheduled or assigned.
- Responsible for adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Efficiently sort materials carefully and accurately into proper transport boxes.
- Stays aware of maintenance needs of delivery vehicle and notifies appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Take vehicle in for repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
