Responsibilities and Duties:

· Draft and adhere to weekly curriculum/lesson plans that fully imbodies our accredited program.

· Give direction and delegates tasks amongst peers within the classroom (teachers and senior staff)

· Follows the daily schedule outlined by The Crayon Box.

· Works together with classroom staff to maintain a clean and safe learning environment.

· Alongside leadership, develop relationships amongst families.

· Partner with leadership to document/communicate with families about important updates, child’s progress, activities in the classroom, milestones, achievements and additional relevant information.

· Interacts / Co-Plays with children, while asking open ended questions to provoke thought and learning

· Poses the flexibility to adequately address additional duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school Diploma

· Previous experience, preferably in a childcare environment

· (For teacher-qualified positions)Meet the education and experience requirements of a teacher as defined by DHS Rule 3.

· Strong Communication Skills

· Must have or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aide within the first 30 days of employment

· High standard of dependability and punctuality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
