Job Description

Job Title: Resale Associate
Department: Resale
Reports To: Resale Director
FLSA Status: Non-exempt; hourly
Hourly Rate: $12.00 an hour
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Time: 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM & 8:30 AM- 2:30 on Sat. (subject to change)

100% Employer paid medical, vision and dental insurance. 403(b) retirement plan.

Positions off on Wednesday or Thursday; can rotate.

Position Summary: Provide support to the resale store and management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort donations
• Price and display products
• Assist with inventory
• Maintenance including but not limited to: taking out garbage, dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing
• Processing Payments

Other Duties:

Performs other job-related duties as assigned. In accordance with the team philosophy of the agency, may routinely be required to carry out or assist with other tasks in addition to the duties listed above. Act in accordance with the agency's mission statement and goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None required.

Education and Experience

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Retail experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to identify the need for developing and implementing process improvements;

· Ability to maintain confidentiality;

Language Skills

Ability to read, and interpret documents and to communicate with diverse populations. Bilingual skills are preferred.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Working Conditions:

Duties are usually performed standing with occasional periods of walking or sitting. Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 25 lbs). Work may be performed, but is not limited to a resale environment.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
