What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Crown & Anchor British Pub?
We are looking for a Bartender to join our team in our non-corporate family which has had success in Pooler and Savannah for over ten years. Must have weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks indcluding house craft cocktails following our recipes accurately
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and replenishment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
