The Culver Hotel is seeking a Front Office Manager at our 46-room reimagined boutique luxury property in the heart of Culver City. The newest addition to the highly regarded Proper Hospitality portfolio, this historic gem boasts classic charm and character paired with modern amenities, a brand new fine dining French bistro, and is considered a flagship of the thriving downtown Culver City. 

Job Overview
• Oversee all Front Office operations and Front Desk staff
• Respond to all guests' requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented at the Front Desk or through other forms of communication, in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
• Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules

• Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Front Office Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
• Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with internal and external guests
• Ensure staffing levels cover business demands
• Attend daily meetings
• Ensure ongoing training
• Proficient in property management systems
• Assist other departments wherever necessary

Qualifications
• 1-2 Leadership/supervisory experience in Front Office (luxury, Forbes standards property preferred)
• Infor PMS knowledge preferred
• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the team
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good financial awareness
• Accountable and resilient
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
