Sales Representative
The Cupboard is a locally owned furniture and home decor store in downtown Hamilton and we are looking for a sales associate to join our team. Responsibilities include working with customers, selling product, taking orders, inventory and helping to create beautiful displays and spaces within the store. This is a relaxed and calm environment with special consideration given to customer service.
Previous experience & knowledge about furniture and home goods isn’t needed, but greatly appreciated.
Position Details:
We offer employee discounts. Paid bi-weekly. Every other Saturday shifts are required. $15hr.
- Solid Training – Hands-on training to learn about furniture and all the products we sell. The sales, networking & communication skills you build with our company is helpful in any future position.
Basic Requirements:
- Enjoy working with people
- High school graduate
- Willing to learn and apply new skills
-Basic math and register skills
-Must be able to lift 50lbs

Who would do well:
People who may do well with us have had experience in retail service, interior decorating, cashiering, administrative assistant, receptionist or office worker. We welcome all applicants who have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
